PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION. Many Windows users have started considering the use of Linux as their "daily driver" central computer operating system. Either because they have computers that can't upgrade to Windows 11, or they don't want to upgrade because their computers are still functioning correctly. However, for some Windows users, there are programs they still want to use that do not have a Linux version. Although almost every possible program is available on Linux to meet your needs, for various reasons, the Windows version remains necessary.

Today's workshop will show users who need to run proprietary Windows programs how to do so on Linux. Alan and Mike will demonstrate several methods for installing and running those programs on your Linux computers.
