Program Description: Windows 10 users will have a big decision to make come this October (Windows 10 End of Life), and we've now found out that even some Windows 11 users will have a big decision to make come this November (end of support for older generation processors even if they can now run Windows 11). One of the options is to convert your functioning computer into a Linux computer, rather than buying a new one.
In preparation for your big decision, John will offer you a two-part workshop for Beginners, from the Beginning. He'll cover the topics listed above to get you thinking and present some of the words used in previous Linux workshops that might confuse you. Following the presentation, there will be time for beginner questions and hopefully answers to help you plan for the future.
