Hello All,
Here are my
Notes for the
SLO Bytes Photo Group Meeting of
04/14/2024TOPIC: Flowers
Ralph Sutter opened the meeting sharing images of wild and garden flowers seen around Arroyo Grande. Most were shot with a Sony A7iv camera and a 2.8 50mm Sony primary lens. Often, Ralph edited these images using Luminar Neo, particularly the Super Sharp extension.
Alan Raul shot a variety of images of flowers around Shell Beach and Pismo Beach using his iPhone, Leica and Sony cameras. He shot a variety of images using focus bracketing which is built into the Sony A7R V camera which automatically brackets the images. He then used focus stacking in post processing using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
Kaye Raul showed poppies, roses, freeway daisies and hydrangeas, promising to explore focus stacking in the near future.
John Waller played with depth of field and blankets of color, pointing his camera to yellow wildflowers, irises and historical images of Waller Seed?s Open House.
Stanford Brown told a visual tale of bees in flowers, apple blossoms, margarita daisies, thistle, roses, rosebuds and succulents.
