I drove up to Monterey to attend the first-ever B&H Photo Optic West Convention. This was initially scheduled for the early part of 2020 in San Francisco. With COVID-19 arriving it was cancelled. It was later recommended to have the conference in Monterey. It was a GREAT event and if they have the event in California in 2023, I will definitely attend.
I created a 3-minute slide show. I contemplated different methods to create the slide show... Adobe Lightroom - Slide Show module, ProShow Gold, etc. I decided to use iMovie on my iPad because of good results from a previous slideshow created.
The images were shot with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. The slide show (movie) was created with iMovie on a 2022 iPad Pro 12.9 inch.
Render time to create the 1080p movie (I had the option to create a 4K version) with sound and transitions = less than 15 seconds
Exporting to a file = less than 45 seconds
It's best to download the movie file to your computer before playing it.
