Hello All,
On my local network, I have a
Ubuntu server that I call
Thinkserver.
I also have a
Synology server running on the same LAN.
The server running
Synology shows up in the
Windows 11 Workgroup folder.
Thinkserver does not.
Until I solved that problem, I couldn't access Thinkserver.
The solution that I found was to open(Windows 11)
File Explorer and in the
address bar type
\\ThinkserverWhen I pressed
Enter, the address bar then showed
Network > thinkserverHaving done so, I gained complete access to the server
I got the same results if I typed
\\THINKSERVER or
\\10.0.0.61, the IP address
Now, when I go to the
Workgroup folder,
Thinkserver appears
I created an illustrated explanation of this process on my personal website at
