New Microsoft Edge

Recent Microsoft monthly patches did not automatically update Microsoft Edge. There is a new version, developed partially from Chrome. It appeared January 15th.  For Windows 10 my latest Version is  81.0.416.72. You can find your version number by going to the page "About Microsoft Edge.  It will tell you the Version you have and how to get the NewEdge if you don't have it.

Where did you get your information that there was a new version of Edge on January 15th?

81.0.416.72 is the latest version of Edge.

Alan,  I was doing a LOT of digging about.  I'll try to find that source again, but I'm not sure I can.

In any case I discovered several pages that made me realize that I wrongly  believed I had the latest version of Edge and once I updated Edge I was able to make use of my heart doctor's Televisit program for a session online  next week regarding my heart problem using my new web camera. I thank you for helping me get that camera and learning to use it for the Zoom sessions!
