This worked for my Epson inkjet. After running the printer cleaning a couple of times, then leave the printer on, maybe a couple of hours. This worked for me when I had fuzzy printing in bands. I have to look in the manual for the timing on leaving it on.

Another suggestion is to do a "print head alignment." This did not solve my specific printer problem. Check your user manual to find out if you can do this on your printer. You should look for an extensive User Manual for your printer on the internet. This user manual is 335 pages, much better than the 40 page manual for my Epson 645 that came in the printer box.

For the previous suggestion leave the printer on at least SIX hours, then try cleaning the print head again.
