This workshop will discuss the latest developments in modems and router hardware, buying and using your own equipment,  and best practices for setup and deployment. We will discuss Wi-Fi as the best option and how it fits into Home Automation; demystify terms like WPA, WiFi-6, 802.11, Ethernet, and DOCIS 3.1.
