START Settings>default apps>Web browser>Microsoft Edge. Click on the icon for the current default browser. Internet Explorer is offered as an option.

Hi Ralph,

Ironically, I had the same problem with Update # 1709, which was corrected by #1803. Number 1709 failed to install repeatedly and actually never did. Update # 1803 installed the first time and subsequent updates have gone without a hitch.

Ed Bott's advice: "Windows 10 Spring Creators Update 1803: Act fast to delay this big upgrade."

Evidently, the Home Edition cannot delay the upgrade. The best idea is to be sure that you have backed up your operating system drive c:\ in case there are serious flaws and you need to recover and try to install it again after the upgrade is corrected and finalized.

One of my most utilized search engines is DuckDuckGoog (not DuckDuckGo). "Goog" does a much more thorough search than "Go", and includes photos, which "Go" seems to overlook. Give DuckDuckGoog a try and I think you might prefer it to the more commonly used DuckDuckGo.  http://www.duckduckgoog.com/
