Hi, all. I've been saving a few REALLY important lists (like book titles I've bought so I don't do it again) in lists that are bookmarks on Firebox. This blew up a few weeks ago, when I noticed that somebody has converted these plain text files into .pdf.
What's the best and free way to convert them to Word files? That will work, and I can continue buying Kindle books. Thanks!

Hi Dave,
If you already have Word, open the .pdf in Word and then save it as a .doc/docx file.
In the past, I have used FormatFactory for the conversion. However, Windows blocks updated versions of that program alleging a virus. In the past, a FormatFactory install offered shovelware unless you declined it. More recent versions apparently attempt to install malicious software.
There are numerous free programs that convert .pdf to Word on line. I don't have a recommendation here.

Interesting. If I save one of my PDFs to Word, it turns all the text to foreign language gibberish... Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help...
