Hello All,
I have created a tutorial that shows the steps that I took in downloading and installing the freeware file conversion program, FormatFactory; www.formatfactory.org
As a long-time user of this software, I find it extremely versatile.  Pay attention if you install it, making sure that you opt out of the additional software that is offered during the installation.

Pay attention if you install it, making sure that you opt out of the additional software that is offered during the installation.

If you don't follow Ralph's instructions you will be infected with unwanted software.

I ran FormatFactory in a Windows Sand Box and just clicked next on the installer to see what the payload was. It was not a pretty picture. MalwareBytes found 49 PUP's. I then ran AutoRuns to see what these programs changed.

Take your time when you install any software and if there is an advanced button click it for more options.
