Fast Startup in Windows 10

Hello All,
Enabling Fast Startup in Windows 10 allows your computer to restart more quickly than it would without Fast Startup enabled.
However, there are times when you may want to make sure that your computer shuts down completely.

If you want to learn whether this feature is enabled, follow the link below this line.
https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/213195423-How-To-Disable-Fast-Startup-in-Windows-10

Or do the following...

If your computer connects to the Internet with an Ethernet cable, shut the machine down.  If you see a green light next to where the cable plugs in, you have Fast Startup enabled.  No green light indicates that Fast Startup is not enabled.

To force a one-time complete shutdown, power off the computer normally and then physically unplug it from the power outlet   You just forced the computer to bypass Fast Startup but if Fast Startup is enabled, it will still be enabled the next time you reboot/shut down the machine normally.

Ethernet Green Light indicator tip thanks to Alan Raul.
