Title: Spectrum Internet Speed
Post by: Alan J. Raul on March 05, 2018, 12:20:45 PM
Periodically I check my Internet speed. This is my latest Spectrum Internet speed with my Lenovo Yoga 920 laptop running Ubuntu Mate 18.04 daily build with a "wireless connection."

121 Down
11 Up

Hi Alan,
I'm envious.  Here's what I get in the hinterland with Advanced Wireless (http://www.advwireonline.com/wireless-internet.html)
Ping 21Ms Down 15.09Mbps Up 20.98Mbps
Where I live, the only "reasonable" alternative that I have to wireless Internet is AT&T's DSL with an advertised download of 3Mbsp and actual speeds somewhat slower if the service works at all.

Here is a snip of my Comcast connection performance in Salem, Oregon. They offer up to 150Mbps.
