Hello All,
I recently purchased a TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless N Mini Router. It is configurable in various modes
Standard Router
Hotspot Router
Repeater
Client
Access Point
I found the Quick Installation Guide did a good job of explaining the differences between these modes and showing how to enable each one.

I plan to use the device as an access point, bringing wireless to an area of my home that currently has erratic WiFi coverage. I'll connect it to a nearby Ethernet cable and then use the WiFi signal for local WiFi devices in that area.
