These are not live streams but recordings. My links are live streams.

I am also a subscriber to http://www.surfline.com/ I use this app on my iPhone and iPad many times throughout the day. I use to have a subscription to outdoortheatre which sold out to Surfline. My membership was moved over to Surfline. I was also grandfathered in for a 50% lifetime rate of $34.95/year (Normally $69.99). This gives me access to many live cameras in HD, full screen and without ads. I am also able to download past 10 minute streams from different days.

Regarding the SnapPower nightlight:  It is certainly a clever and interesting idea, but I have tried a variety of nightlights in my home to help keep me from falling at night, and they are all less expensive and easier to use than the SnapPower.
They all are easily replaced when needed, and they all simply need to be plugged into an outlet. For vacations or even very short term shut offs, you just need to switch off or unplug them.  I have had my best success with those that do not use bulbs that burn out and have to be replaced.  I prefer ones that turn off when very low light levels appear.

Alan, Is it possible that the streaming is live during the day and recorded playback at night? This is the first time that I have viewed the above three websites at night, as I thought there would be nothing to see in the darkness. I was quite surprised to see illuminated imagery. During the day, however, the Sun seems to be in approximate sync with the time, especially at sunset. Avila Beach is Surfline also. When you click to full screen, a brief message states that you are on Surfline.com.

It does look like they are live streaming during the day and post up a daylight recording at night. I have found some interesting things going on at the top of the Inn at Avila Beach (via SurfLine) at night!!!
