Title: SanDisk SSD PLUS 1TB Solid State Drive - SDSSDA-1T00-G26

I have been looking for the cost of 1 TB SSD's to drop. I have been using 1 TB Toshiba spinning HDD's for many years for off-site backup. They don't get much use so I didn't need to go with high-quality Samsung SSD. The spinning HDD's were getting painfully slow when you are use to SSD's.

I was looking at:
Inland 1TB 3D NAND SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive  from MicroCenter for $159.99.

Until this deal showed up on the Amazon Prime Day 2018:
SanDisk SSD PLUS 1TB Solid State Drive - SDSSDA-1T00-G26 from Amazon for $149.99.
It's interesting to note that these SanDisk SSD's were first available on Amazon on June 11, 2018.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered 2. Now my off-site backups should take a fraction of time.

UPDATE: I had previously checked B&H and they were priced higher than Amazon. They now have dropped the price to match Amazon but without having to pay the sales tax.
